Long Time, No Write: SAMD21

I’ve neglected blogging because I really don’t have any progress to show. I’ve been dealing with sketchy and possibly wrong documentation so have been tediously testing out each feature figuring out exactly what is needed and what is not needed to get things to work. The net result should be that the next book (on SAMD21 Arduinos) should be accurate and straightforward.

I’m also being sidetracked into the Seeedstudio XIAO, a very inexpensive SAMD21-based board that is minimalist in design. Think of it as a ARM replacement for the Arduino Pro Micro board. It has a crystal, voltage regulator, USB, and some LEDs. It’s basically the cleanest SAMD21-based board so it works best for my testing.
